The skating rink by the ocean within the Sevkabel house PORT is a small momentary seasonal undertaking throughout the large-scale transformation of the territory of the historic Sevkabel manufactory (Siemens & Halske), situated on Vasilyevsky Island.
The structure of the rink derives from seaside location in addition to from the economic context. Virtually rectangular ice discipline is tightly match between the fence and the present industrial building.
Within the middle of the rink, preserved timber kind a small spherical island, that naturally divides ice into a number of zones. At floor stage, the ice discipline is related with the present building, the place rental and locker rooms are situated.
