The venture Arquitectura is positioned in an agricultural space of the Baba canton – Los Ríos province – Ecuador, over a water channel, surrounded by native wildlife. Mr. Pepe, an aged man, has the behavior of consuming a cup of tea and occasional along with his household each afternoon and has been doing so for years. The target was to keep up this custom inside an area that permits the household to be linked to nature and is adaptable to varied every day makes use of.

The venture measuring 8m x 4m rises on a water channel, resting on two pre-existing concrete buildings that have been for use for the development of a bridge. The room is configured from its envelope with a primary system of wood trusses extracted from the identical web site, constructed with native labor. Using mounted and sliding glass panels permits to speak in confidence to the surroundings and blur the constructed restrict, giving continuity to the panorama. The versatile program is complemented by a multifunctional counter and a rest room.

The view from the within ends with folding lattice doorways that open onto the terrace/balcony the place a folding handrail defines the final restrict of the venture; that, along with the river stone facet stairs, permit the likelihood to to take a seat and have a direct reference to the Arquitectura water.

Tea Room emerges as a gesture to know the probabilities of an open house inside a pure surroundings. It’s established as a versatile house, the place morning yoga, weekend visits, afternoon tea and Sunday soccer matches can all be held in a single Arquitectura house.
