Textual content description supplied by the architects. Subsequent to the Hoofddorp prepare station is the Beukenhorst West enterprise park. The location is positioned between the station and the village heart. Till not too long ago it was a mono-functional, pragmatic enterprise space: workplace blocks and parking areas. The realm will change considerably with the realisation of Hyde Park: MVRDV designed the masterplan for practically 4,000 flats, Dijk&co Landschapsarchitectuur made a design for the general public area. The residential blocks are at the moment being constructed after designs by MVRDV, MVSA, Studio Ninedots, Barcode, and Staff V. The realm will grow to be the brand new entrance to Hoofddorp.
With the realisation of the Gerritshoeve and the folly, the station space is a pretty public area in the course of the building of Hyde Park.
